His team might be the worst performing team in the Indian Premier League  but Kolkata Knight Riders coach John Buchanan has new ideas for improving not only his teams performance but that of the entire IPL. After the failure of multiple captaincy theory John Buchanan has come up with the idea of having more foreign players playing for a team. Currently only 4 foreign players are allowed to be in the playing XI of each team and Buchanan want that to be increased.

He was quoted in cricketnext.com

“It is a question that we have posed to IPL a number of times about the involvement of more players on the field. I have personally mentioned that a number of times”

Meanwhile there are a lot of speculations that Kolkatta Knight Riders team owner Shah Rukh Khan is trying to sell his team. SRK, do that at the earliest so that someone else would kick out the coach before he comes up with any more incredeble ideas.

Any way I’m very much happy that the Chennai Super Kings are again on the winnig track and hope to see some more super shows from EM ES DHONI and his team.

Indian Squad Announced

The squad for the ICC T20 world cup next month was annouced today:
M S Dhoni (c), Virender Sehwag (vc), Gautam Gambhir, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, Rohit Sharma, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Praveen Kumar, RP Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Pragyan Ojha and Irfan Pathan.

Some great performacnes at the IPL helped Ravindra Jadeja and Pragyan Ojha to be in the 15 member squad. In spite of his perfomace in the match against Mumbai Indias (that happened a day before the selecton) the Banglore Royal Challangers batesman could not make it to tha squad.Munaf Patel,Dinesh Karthik, Ajith Agarkar and Sreesanth were also not included in the team.
